Jane Sonenshein Files for Re-Election to the State BOE

Jane Sonenshein, 10th District Representative to the State Board of Education, has filed for re-election to the Board. State Board members are term limited to two four year terms.

Jane represents Adams , Brown, Clark , Clermont, Clinton , Fayette, Gallia , Greene, Highland , Jackson , Lawrence , Madison , western Pickaway, Pike, Ross, Scioto , and Vinton counties. In addition to her work at the monthly state board meetings, serving as Co-Chair of Capacity Committee, and on Quality Middle and High Schools subcommittee, Appointments Committee, 2010-11 Budget Committee, and the superintendent's Parent Advisory Council, Jane regularly meets with district superintendents, visits schools and districts in all her counties and helps constituents get questions and concerns answered.

Working on these issues, first in my own community, then throughout my county, and now throughout all the schools in my Board district has been a rewarding experience.
